Your new company
Our client is one of Ireland and the UK’s largest contractors with further operations in mainland Europe. They have a proven reputation in both large-scale building and civil engineering projects, ranging from €5 million – €200 million+. They currently operate with over 150 staff and now have a requirement for a Health and Safety Officer to join their team in Dublin.
Your new role
You’ll join a large safety department and report directly to the Safety Manager. You’ll be responsible for the preparation of health and safety plans and risk assessments, site audits and reporting. You’ll undertake all site safety inductions and will chair all safety meetings. You’ll be responsible for reviewing sub-contractors’ safety statements and safety compliance. You’ll also be responsible for investigating, recording and reporting all accidents that occur on site.
What you’ll need to succeed
You’ll be a Safety Officer with circa 2-4 years’ experience working in a construction environment, preferably with large building contractors in Ireland. A Level 8 degree is also required for this role.
