Site Manager – Fitout

Job Description

My client is an expanding fit out contractor who has grown steadily since their inception over 5yrs ago.

They are currently recruiting for an experienced site manager to work on Fit Out projects in Dublin. Projects typically are high end commercial fit outs ranging in value from €350K to €5M. As the successful candidate you will ideally have 5+yrs experience in running similar projects. You will have a client friendly demeanour and a common sense attitude with an ability to get all involved working together on site. Ideally you will have a relevant trade and/or construction related qualification.

You will be responsible for the overall day to day running of site operations, reporting directly to the contracts manager and Managing Director.

Duties and responsibilities include;

• Supervision of Employees, monitoring performance and productivity
• Overseeing Sub-Contractors ensuring they adhere to program and required quality standards and overall evaluation at end of projects
• Materials and Plant – procurement, hire & off hire, efficiently & economically
• Overall responsibility for ensuring quality workmanship and standards
• Defects & snag lists
• Communicating variations to client reps and contracts manager & QS
• Maintaining accurate documentation & site records
• Keeping client and client reps updated on site progress
